Located in a small farming community in central New York, the New Woodstock Regional Historical Society was founded in 1976. It maintains the original railroad depot of the Lehigh Valley Railroad, who saw its last train on the tracks in 1967. The building houses railroad memorabilia, a station master's office, and a freight room.
Sitting on the remaining track is a restored caboose. There is also an exhibit hall with artifacts from the area as well as historical information about the town and its people.
The Depot is open during the summer months for special events and by appointment. The Society also hosts several concerts in Heritage Park. See the Events page for information.
